Pro-Motion Music Introduces New Organ and Media Event – Bach and Sons

Bach and Sons features the glorious organ music of Johann Sebastian Bach played by Dr. Jeannine Jordan as the bookends to the equally interesting yet smaller pieces of his sons. The event is more than an organ concert, though, as anecdotes from Bach’s life and the times in which he and his sons lived are shared.
Both the music played and stories told are presented against a continually changing backdrop of stunning visuals created by David Jordan of the places and times which influenced these incredible musicians. Bach and Sons presents intriguing history in an entertaining educational manner from the perspective of the family of genius musicians, their instruments and their music.
The event also combines the visual and aural senses for audience interaction by all ages. Its appeal is broad in that the academic musician and music-lover as well as the historian and educator are equally intrigued by the presentation.
Careful attention to historically accurate detail,
superb playing of glorious organ music,
interesting stories and
stunning visuals
create a memorable Bach event.

Contact Jeannine now to book a performance of Bach and Sons
in your community.

From Sea to Shining Sea and the International Year of the Organ

David and I had the joy of presenting From Sea to Shining Sea in thirteen different locations during the 2008-2009 International Year of the Organ.  We truly traveled from sea to shining sea with concerts from New London, CT to Ocala, FL and Duluth, MN to Lincoln City, OR and many exciting places in between.  We met wonderful people, I played many glorious organs, we shared the story of the organ in the United States and made friends for the organ across the country.
